what I meant on a beefier engine IS - thicker piston crowns to take the heat brunt of every combustion stroke produced by the more than 100% vol. effeciency burn - then you have no piston cooling system - small low rev NA engines rely on the tiny squirt of oil and oil vapour to cool the piston bottom and remove heat with the oil.. turbo engines have oil jets under the pistons to cool them. Then for a boosted engine you need a mild cam profile unlike an NA system which needs more overlap and higher lift.
