Air and Cabin Filter change

I want to replace Air and cabin filter of my honda city 2018. Any one give your expert opinion should i go for Honda genuine filters or some after market one?
Cost of Honda genunie Air filter=2700
and Cabin Air filter= 1700
where as after market one like Lippon costs around 1000 only.

Genuine, OEM Filters are the best IMO, and if your vehicle is under warranty, and you are willing to maintain it, then you are bound to use OEM filters, and from Honda dealerships only (which sell at ridiculously high prices, when compared to the same item, bought from open market).

In case of after-market, only buy those which meet / exceed OEM requirements, especially in terms of quality.

Leppon is good, but genuine / OEM filters by Honda are better than Leppon. Accordingly, they come at a price.

U can get asakashi from parts Central..anothet excellent brand and has lesser price. U can also get oem Honda one from Parts Central

Go with genuine air filter. It has thin film of oil which prevents dust to go through and has long life.

As ur car is new go for OEM filters bcz if u use aftermarket filter may be ur warranty will be avoided

Cabin filter will not be impacting warranty. There are great aftermarket options like bosch and asakashi..both are as good as oem one. One should avoid local filters..like leppon /guard etc

Bro I said "may be" bcz its very difficult to claim warranty in Pakistan the dealerships are using lame excuses so if they saw an aftermarket filter in a cars they'll get another "bahana" so that's why i told him

agar yeh soch rhay ho k agar oem filter change karwo gay or baad ma koi warranty claim hua tu vo kar dein gay yeh bhul ha ap ki

Bahanay to.. they hai all the time..but person has to be very firm with claim else these looters never listen

I would tend to slightly disagree.

In case of filters, the material from which they are made is of prime importance and its quality matters the most.

Cheap filter's material would be substandard, and in case of Air filters and oil filters made from such materials, I fear, engine health would be compromised in the long run, and filters will also not be able to perform their intended functions well.
