Air coming out of dipstick hole

Its all normal, the air is from the movement of the pistons and the air has to displace somewhere - baffle plates help in engine design but cheap made small engines lack those. compression leakage is also seen if the valve clearances are too tight. Toyotas now have the solid bucket design which makes for expensive business in repairs.

To check for leaky rings and the oil cap trick, check it with engine at 1500 rpm,

the 2SZ-FE EGR system route was confusing me as i cant see any EGR pipe coming out of EGR valve.

Is it normal? I checked oil level today while engine was running and weirdly engine was throwing air out of dip stick hole....

Oil level looked within range( a little bit above upper hole) and i always get oil change and pretty much everything from dealership service center

Its normal Air never comes out, it moves IN & OUT due to pistons movement & it feels like its coming out, consider a vibrating speaker in a BOX u gonna observe the same effect

Due to busy work routine, i couldn't go to mechanic to get PCV valve checked but today i opened the oil cap and i could hear some blow, it was not loud just like air moving through a hole.

So do I still need to go for mechanic? I am confused because some people are saying its normal while others are saying its not... and mechanic will have opinion of his own now

you cannot have a perfect vacuum anywhere, there is air in the engine and it needs to move, all engine's piston rings leak some compression (no engine can be 100% sealed).

hence - the air being pushed out is normal, it will be sucked back at a little above idle rpm. (thats what the breather is for)

Some People Do ...EGR Needs Attention Time To Time As It Get Stuck Open Or Closed And Need Servicing ... But It Serves Purpose In Emission As Well As In Fuel Efficiency Somehow...

Deleting EGR Can Also lead To many things which ECU may not find normal as its mapped to read with EGR included..

So better not to delete and just service it.

@rajaatta one question, servicing the EGR can make better way for exhaust gases to combustion chamber, resulting in build up of carbon?

dont delete EGR, it prevents spark knock.
