Air Filters and Jet, should I get a a new jet for a Moxi Metal-Grilled washable Air Filter?

I was browsing some of FortNine's videos on mods for speed, and one of the things he mentioned was the air filter. So, if I switch the regular cheap UD-70 air filter our for a Moxi airfilter (Washable metal), will I need to get a new jet, he said that a better air filter will make the bike run lean, and to compensate for that, I will need to plug in a new jet.
