Air Fuel Mixture Mehran Setting

Please someone suggest the setting of air fuel mixture of Mehran carborater.
Does tightening it will make the mixture lean or rich?
What will be the effect if i losen it

lose (opening) means more fuel / closing (less fuel more air)

adjust in quarter turn steps of mixture screw in either direction check exhaust pipe for the best air fuel mixture which produce cold exhaust gas
