Air Intake inquiry

No waste ov time ... just a short question .... Is the air intake connected to the throttle body ?? :o and what if someone installs a sport injection kit with individual throttle bodies per cylinder den will an air intake kit be compatible to use ?? plz explain.

Yes... engine sucks air through intake manifold..and air intake is connected to Plenum in which TB is.....!

Well After Itbs.....it depends....if u r gonna run Open ITbs...then use Individual Air Filters directly on those....!

Let me post some pics to make it clear

A STock Engine showing Air Intake Setup..u can see it after TB...

There are ITBS OPEN ITbs..so no need of Air Intake....it all takes individually....! In pics Below..its running Open...u can place Filters on them...!

Levin: well post updated Raa bhai....i think 2nd pics having ITbs with filters is ok for here open one will surely kill engine and fill it with dust no doubts...

Well Bhai...Plenum is that box covering all Itbs....
TB is installed in it....! in short..its the square type box u can see in 1st pics

I have to dig more in order to clear it more dude with pics...

dusty engine=dead engine.

OEM is best for Pk use, i say leave it as is, if you live in Pk and you want yr engine to last longer..

look dust even let afm stay long, this picture is off my old air flow meter after air filter box.

i have it replaced now.

ITB's= Individual Throttle Bodies

It looks like this....

Let engine to suck more air than SIngle Throttle one...!
It have 4 throttle for 4 cyls rather than 1 for 4 throttle...

well everyone has their choice, i say buy orginal Denso filters(for Toyota) made in Japan.- that's quality for PK use

Raa bhai....Very True....in AFM....u have to take so much care......!
In MAP....u don't need to care about AFM...just use proper filters and filter whats getting into engine.....!its all good
