yaar yeh kis kisam ki discussion hai. Bhai university HEC se recognized honi chahiye, aur university ki ranking us university main hone wai research se hoti hai. NUST ka tu koi naam na le, colonel major ke bete hi jasakte hain sifarish par merit par nahin. mechanical main shayad dedein but forget about electronics and others.
Kahin se bhi karlo sab barabar hai, atlast it depends on indivisual. NED has no standard of studies but still its students catches good positions because its the power of students that has made the name of NED not NED itself.

Standard of NED is far superior then many Universiteis, it stands among top 5 Engineering Universities in Pakistan, people need to study Very Hard to pass out from NED !

Are you NEDian?
Not really, they study last one month before their exams while in semester based institutes one have to study continously not on last few days as 40% of our marks comes from mid terms, assignements, quizes, tests, attendence and what not (depends on teacher). Whilein NED only 20% marks goes for all these assignements etc. I have alot to say but I think its a useless discussion as where ever you are its the best as you got that only chance and you opted for it, actual worth is of time.

Their is no bad uni no good uni. Depend on Individual.. its true that Uni environment matters a lot but by the end of the day , its individual performance that matters

@ s55,,,,,,,,,u r so wrong in saying that only colonels and majors sifaarishis get admission in NUST,,,,,,they have a quota of only 10% there,,,,,rest all is open merit,,,,,,i myself got admitted to the highest ranking ELECTRICAL ENGG at the College of EME,NUST,,,,,,while none of my family members is in Army,,,,,,kindly correct ur facts,,,,,,,,

Well guys i want to say a lot regarding this topic. But i am sorry, currently i dont have time to write something in details. I was a part of Air University. However after joining it, i came to know the purpose and its performance. Then, i kicked this f*****g university. i'll tell you in detail: how i reached to such a conclusion.

@abdulahad_005. I probably belong to your batch so you might know me, because i joined mechatronics program in Fall 2004 and then joined the electronics program. I kicked the university in 2005 summer and then migrated to another university.

@pakwheelers. I hope,inshallah i'll be able to save many pakwheelers from wasting their parents hard earned money. For that, i need a fact file to prove myself. I believe, even abdulahad and Punk will agree with me.

I guess thats how it works here in the PNEC(NUST). You are in Islamabad dont know whats there. No 10% thing applies when it comes to their people. Arm forces has ruined this country.
