For a quick overview.
A university's performance can be measured by the input it gets(admission criteria, students level), how effeciently it process the inputs ( by providing qualified faculty, environment, campus, labs, facilities( i-e hostels, bus services), rules, regulations, procedures and management) and finally on the output ( student's value in the market, their compatibility in the market, accrediation and affilitiation from the respective boards, knowledge level, placement level etc)?. Airians please elaborate your's university performance on these grounds with reference to www.au.edu.pk
Being proud of one's own university is a good thing. However misguiding the new comers still knowing the reality is a bad thing. Try to benchmark your university with the other reputed universities, you will get your answer. Where does your university stands?
You guys might have heard about a dispute that was raised two years ago by an Airforce senior officer: when Air university placed an ad to acquire MBA's but only from LUMS and IBA, no other university candidate including Air was eligible to apply for. Now, you can analyze whats the level of student knowledge that they even dont rely on their MBA student. (The article was published in dawn)
