Hello.

Today I faced a weird situation with my Vitz 2014 Model (Spider shape). While driving up slope on bridge I turned on AC and car engine went off. When I ignited engine again, the ECO light disappeared and two new lights showed up. Attached images. Vitz official manual says malfunctioning of lamps etc that I couldn’t understand (see attached). Fortunately, after shutting off engine for a while, car reverted to same situation without need of any electrician or troubleshooting.

I know it doesn’t seem to be a serious problem but good to learn about it. So need to know if you can guide me on this.

@noman1988 how much oil is poured in in this 2014 model? we bought one last year and pouring accurate 3L in it along with oil filter change. is 3L ok? please confirm

The official guide says 3.7 litre with filter. Read 346 pg of booklet whose link I'm copying below:

This manual is not for Vitz 1.0 but for Vitz 1.3 or 1.5.

Engine Oil capacity for Vitz 1.0 with 1kr-fe engine is 3.1 ( inclusive of filter).

Thanks for correction, you're right as displacement mentioned is 1497 cc.
Actually, it starts by saying that it covers all models and all equipment (pg.20) so just wondering why no information for 1000 cc.
Though still useful for general things, will make a note that it's for 1.3 & 1.5 L.

Be informed that 1000cc Vitz ( in other countries Yaris) is only used in few countries other than Japan.

Mostly all countries where Toyota has representation, it’s Yaris 1.3 or Yaris 1.5.

People don’t know if Yaris comes in 1000cc as it does not exist in their countries.

Make your Oxygen Sensor 1 and 2 check.. Vitz spider shape is having serious sensor problems...

You are looking at 1300 engine. 1000 cc requires 3.0 ltr oil.
