Today I opened the left front wheel of my car and found an unusual bolt inserted (see the attached picture) below the shock.The car has alignment issue, it goes to left side when I leave the steering wheel alone.

Yes you are right. Car had an accident but what is the genuine solution?
This is one of the solution that I have seen. Other is to use a small size bolt.
Someone else may give further insight...
I think this will not affect ur alignment. You can get alignment done and keep this bolt as it is.
I have checked and found that the left tire is comparatively outside the right tire. Should I remove the bolt and check the result?
