I want to have a 12v ups for my router, as when electricity cuts router turns off and then it takes at least 10 mints to start gen and router to turn on. So for 10 minutes the is a network cutdown.
So, First option I am thinking is to attach a 12v Battery (motorcycle one) to a 12v adapter in parallel circuit with 12v router like this.
12v charger will not be able to fully charge the battery as the battery voltage when fully charged is near to 12.6 so charger will charge it till potential difference is zero means 12v=12v i think it is safe, what do you say?

Second option is to make the use of old laptop battery, but for that i have to buy the laptop battery charging board then attach it with 19v dc adaptor.
