yawn, stupid and baseless. For the numbnuts blaming Honda 'Atlas', for your knowledge the gearknob and all other plastics of this car are IMPORTED FROM THAILAND. Very little of this car is actually MADE HERE IN PAKISTAN. The car is only assembled in Pakistan. Common sense has obviously eluded all those blaming Honda 'Atlas'.

Wheover was driving this car:

a) Had disgustingly sweaty hands, salt obviously dissolves finishing on plastic whether its a Civic or a Mercedes Benz.

b) Look at how dirty the floor is and the footboard. Its evident the person didn't even know how to keep it clean.

c) If the person did clean it, he didn't use a good quality interior cleaning polish.

While the gear and handbrake in this case may be imported and my following comment may not apply on them, we all know about the disgusting quality on offer by not just Honda, but all car assemblers here in Pakistan. This is what happens when all orders for parts go to the lowest priced suppliers.

hmm.. but i guess we can bear with a bit of a gear knob fadin even though cylestyne rightly specified the reason .. but we would prefer this fading rather than having a crappy suspension of an altis which feels the car is goign one way and the driver the other .. no road grip at all .. and very very crappy braking .. so u choose .. want a faded gear knob .. or and upside down car when u brake.........lol

If this was a Liana I am 100% sure every body would have cursed it but since its a honda therefore lots of members are saying honda rockss. To me this car is a total flop just imagine an adult cannot sit in the back seat wow what a waste of 15 lacs.

I am not sure who you are to call my comment lame. First of all if you know chemistry (which I doubt) you'll understand that plastic finishing wears off with salt. Sweat contains salt and lots of it. The gearknob is clear plastic with magnesium type finishing, its a volatile material and degrades with use and exposure to liquids which contain corrosive properties.

I am sure the designer of the particular gearknob didn't want to increase the price of a million gear knobs by a few dollars by coating it with materials which prevent sweat absorption because of a sweat disorder that one in a million people have. Logic has obviously eluded you as well since you can't see simple facts.

And yes to you the car is a flop, so go drive your Liana. When you can afford a 15 lac rupee car, then we'll see how much you whine about poor quality, in the meantime don't talk about stuff which you have no knowledge about or first-hand experience with.

And for your information 5 people can comfortably fit in this car. If you stop treating the front seats like an executive lounge and pull up the seats a bit, 3 people will have no problem getting in comfortably at the back.

first of all mind your language you have no bloody rights to say go drive your liana and when I can afford one I will buy one, you better watch what you are saying ok. Secondly I said your reply is a lame one thats cause Honda is considered to be the best company right now in Pakistan for quality, therefore they should have thought about some thing else cause every one knows that hands do get sweaty and as far as the knowledge is concerned Allah ka shukar hay aap say ziada he ho ge.

and about the leg space, Liana and xli mein 5 adults can sit very comfortably without moving the front seats forward and liana costs half the price of civic and is much more comfortable cause of the space.
