Yes, same here. But I think they are getting better with time, maybe the foam is softening.I think the main issue is that they are not bucket seats, the body has to continuously struggle to stay firm on the seats.

Could it also be that the body is actually getting used to of the seats? ️
Exactly the reason why i don't drive corolla anymore because when i do occasionally then it feels as if "beemar ko shifa mil gayi"

Seats are hard compared with other sedans. I installed leatherite seat covers with 1 inch foam filling and now feels quite comfortable.

Though I do not own a BRV, but have researched it a lot as I was thinking of buying it but ended up with Altis 1.6. In my opinion the BRV suspension is not designed for off roading specifically. But the increased ground clearance gives it an edge in this regard, and its cuz ov this that many wrongly think that the car is designed for off roading.

Here in Pak, we do a lot of off roading with even sedans cuz of the poor road conditions..... Even though those cars are not designed for it..... Thats why toyota is more popular in Pak as it has suspension more rugged than honda, yet not designed for off roading....

Vehicles designed for off roading are like Hilux, Land Cruiser, Land Rover etc....

In Pak, one can use any car for off roading, even Mehran
But if you love ur car, do not try it till the time its unavoidable.....

nice explanation but in both of these what you recommend for northern tours as we dont have budget for fortuner and old one are available for 33-35lac but there owner reviews are pretty bad and very underpowered also.

This is major problem of honda in pakistan. They are providing horrible seats in city brv and civic. Park bench is far better thn honda seats in pak. I have kept civic in the uk aswell as crv the seats were too damn good but in pakistan honda bezat ker raha hai customer ko aisi seats de ker. Specially back seat per beth ker rona ata hai is shit box k lyea 24 lakh dyea.

Brv is a family mini van. If someone thinks he can go offrosd with this are the same who dip banana in tea

As I said, one can use his car for off roading if its unavoidable and visiting northern areas is included in it.... at least for me....

My point indirectly was that when ever one off roads with such cars, one should bear in mind that these cars are actually not designed for it so should take extreme care while driving....

The lesser the beating one will give to the suspension the longer it will work....

I am getting my brv this week. Research a lot and ended buying brv as there are limited choices. Civic not a practical car require more space more fuel .Researching on changing tyres to 205/60/16. Comments appreciated

please stick to stock tyre size only, manufacturers spend billions of dollars on R&D of a vehicle. dont challenge that R&D by sheeda or bashir theory of installing bigger tyre for more grip and comfort.

I couldn't agree more. Exactly that's what i thought even though the civic i mean that's top of the line car has pathetic seats. I don't want to start Toyota vs honda here but indus motors has got some of the things pretty damn right when it comes to atlas motors. Atlas motors are terrible company in my opinion they dont respond to phone calls they dont respond to their facebook page they are overall pretty much inaccessible. While indus motors is not like its amazing company but at least they do some traditional diplomacy right.
I think honda atlas is obsessed with outer look of the vehicle they retain the outer look of original Japanese car as much as possible while totally disregarding the interior. On the other hand indus motors beleives that long before ABS and airbags ppl where still driving cars so they totally disregard safety and provide the same illusion of getting luxury car that can easily run as a taxi in sindh province because of its higher reliability and cheaper parts.
Unfortunately Indus motors has also learned from atlas and now offering the same hard as rock seats in lower priced versions of their corolla. They were like heck if atlas can get away with crappy seats so can we!!!
While i still believe gli's seats are much more comfortable than brv or city. That's a shame.
I'm already looking for alternative seats.
Can honda freed seats fit in brv. I believe they are interchangeable though I'm not sure. If someone can have access to both cars they could confirm the nuts and bolts location and total area covered by the seats.

I will hopefully be buying BR-V by next week InShaALLAH. I just wanted to check which colours are most resell-able and has anyone here bought the Carnelian Red colour? Share your thoughts on the Urban titanium too.

Carnelian read looks very cool..but its slow on resale.. Only lunar silver,modern steel and teffta white is strong on resale.. My vote is lunar silver good looks,resale and easy to maintain in dusty conditions..
