Need a feedback
Have just purchased a BRV S and felt that its gear box produces too much heat inside cabin area. Whereas my City Prosmatic never did so.
Is it normal for BRV or I need to get it checked from dealership.

This is not normal and needs to be checked immediately.

I did not say that it cannot be used in NA engines. What I said that it did not add much benefit to fuel economy and engine power. You can use it in NA engines what out any problem as long as you can

Salam every one... Can some one guide me which is the best place for the car to be dry dented? Very small area behind plastic footboard needs dry denting as footboard was damaged and when it was removed it came to my knowledge that the bosy behind the footboard is also dented.. Though its covered by the footboard i want to do dry denting on it... Honda swan is saying it needs to be dented and repainted.
The method of denting they are suggesting is to make small holes and then pull it to remove dents and then cover these small holes with soldering and then repaint it.
What do you guys suggest should i let them do this? Should i ask them to do dry denting?
I am pretty sure they would reply with a no for dry denting.
So in that case should i just get the plastic footboard changed and leave that dent as it is for now as it would be completely hidden behind the footboard?

Any update on your friend's car? Did you find out what happened? I have heard a few cases of BRVs stalling in very little rain without even being submerged in water and ending up with serious issues.

Alhumdulillah they got it running without having to open the engine. Thankyou all for your responses!

Got it changed from Honda 3 s. My vehicle has 25000 on meter but since it's 3 years so I decided to get it changed. It was around 4000 rupees.

Pls lodge complaint with dealer now or at 1000 service. Together we all can get this issue resolved from company under warranty.

Dear Team,
I have came to know about this Fan Club few days back, actually i am about to book BRV-S facelift 2020 next week, i found a very mix kinda review about this car , i need a suggestion as we are 6 family members and i need practical and tension free vehicle for longer period. In addition I'll be driving this car daily around 40 50 km in Islamabad and also on long routes till Karachi every 6 months.
Pls share your expert opinion as i am not a very car sound person.

Don't worry, buy this with eyes closed, better ground clearance than sedan, huge trunk space, dual AC, best Honda proven 1.5 engine with good fuel economy, 2020 model improved then previous, best car for large family, no other car compete in market at that price.

i bought my BRV in January 2020 and have driven it for 4300 kilometers only but unfortunately last Friday while back to my office it just died time was 3pm in the evening despite several attempts it did not start. i had it serviced on September 12th from Honda Qaideen, called them and they said they will get back to me in 5 minutes but that five minutes never came luckily i was close to Honda Defense i went there and they also refused to assist me by saying that they dont have spare mechanic to assist me. Finally after several calls someone came from Honda Qaideen to assist me and they started the car within a few minutes. i had no choice but to go to Qaideen service center to have the car checked as it was after 5pm they asked me to leave my car with them and on Saturday evening they returned my BRV saying that there is no fault just some moisture in one of the sensors i dont know how true this is but Honda after sales is hopeless. we cant take our honda cars to unauthorized service center and those who are authorized not care for their customers as their hands are full. every quarter they ask us to get our cars serviced and extract thousands of Rupees but when it comes to assist in the time of need they disappear please advise if anyone have faced similar issues with Honda, is honda after sales service that bad

I think its a fuel pump issue & honda atlas recall replacing fuel pumps of BRV & Civics.

We have also decided to book it in November. The reason I didn't agreed on BRV purchase is because of Under power while driving with 7 persons, AC is not good in extreme weather conditions, has road noise that you can't listen to second row if tou are doing 90-110 that is my personal experience too.

Alhamdulillah Bought BRV S today, the drive is really smooth and no issue faced regarding the AC as mentioned by several members, but definitely its too early to comment on this, but as per my analysis and observation after lock down i have seen too many BRVs on road.

Hi, I just bought a 2020 brv s facelift and I am having the same issue with the trunk just noticed it today 3 days after getting it from the showroom. Is there is a fix for it? Have to close it very hard for it to close otherwise it closes but stays a bit loose and the open door light is on. Does the showroom know about this issue and do I have to take it there or just live with it. Thanks.
