Seems like Boot clamp is loosed some how. That is why its leaking. Water can be spilled in during car wash. You should replace the clamp and grease immediately. If the boot (RUBBER PART) is not broken then should be a minor repair needs maximum half an hour. However replacement of boot is a hefty process which requires disassembly of CV joint by a KHARIDIA. HONDA shops have facility of doing this at one place but they will rip you off. Needs immediate attention otherwise joint will start making noise.

I think it's better to take it off and wash it thoroughly to remove all mud and grit etc and regrease. I think the water might hbae gone in during the rains or something... I doubt it's from a car wash but could be... Terrible quality /fitting from Honda though...

I saw a video on Youtube last week regarding the facelift BR-V (probably Thailand spec) and they mentioned that the facelift now also has the cabin air filter which was missing before the facelift.
Can someone with the facelift model confirm if it is now present in the Pakistan spec vehicle or at least they have provided the proper tray for it?

Problem is not just the tray, the fan also needs to be stronger. I cut off the opening and put In a genuine filter for city. The blower fan started making a whiny noise, had to remove the filter

My experience is different. I inserted cabin filter and its as good as it was. You must have faltered while cutting or inserting. Try it again please

How can it be a cutting problem.... I inserted the filter, but probably the filter material was too thick and the resistance was making the fan pull upwards so it was making a whiny noise. I should try with a cheaper filter Etc

Thats what I am asking, no need to cut any thing, according to the video facelift BR-V has the proper slot and tray for cabin filter. If any one has the facelift model here, he may be able to confirm if it is also the case in the Pak spec model.

This is the meter cluster when I turn on the ignition in BRV facelift.
Can someone tell me what warning light is in section A
Section B is traction Control which is not available in PDM BRV
I also looked in the manual but could not find any information on this icon.

Light B is EPS electrical power steering. Light A is new to me and never seen before.

any idea where to buy BRV boot kit for cv axles ?

i tried to clean and regrease these . used a new ear clamp but after a few days i can see fresh grease leaking out
I guess will need new boots. These boots are actutally two piece. and normal after market boots wont fit

Just spotted the VSA icon I was thinking EPS is marked as B.

yes both manual and cvt-s have 2 airbags as standard in the facelift model

I have checked at multiple honda dealerships and various shops at plaza for the boots. Apparently, honda (only in pakistan) doesnt sell a boot kit for the brv. They will provide whole axle assembly for roughly 90k one side. Which is ridiculous. Another dealership offered to replace the boots with aftermarket boots but needed "sample" so will keep the car for 2 days. Again, if they know what kind of after market boots fit, what do they need the sample for ? And they are asking 23k for this job

The right part number for the kit is 44017-tsa-k50.
If anyone can tell me from where i can get the part, pls let me know.

These dealerships are insane. visit to any good non branded mechanic the will definitely resolve the issue.

Manufacturers, importers and distributors must ensure spare parts and repair facilities are available for the vehicles they assemble or import. They can do so themselves or through their agents.

This guarantee doesn't apply if you were told at the time of sale that spare parts or repair facilities were not available, or were only available for a certain period of time

As Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Ltd ensures that parts will be available for all models. You can send a legal notice to the head office. I think they will arrange the part to you.
