ride quality is fine of brv. but if you are sitting alone in it then it is a bit on the stiff side . it becomes okay once 2-3 persons are sitting in it.

Reduce your tires pressure to 30 and / or change your tires to some foreign brand.

Actually its ride quality is quite akin to honda city , but honda city's ride quality does not become better when more people are sitting in it

For increasing fuel average i advise that members check the tyre pressure regularly and maintain it at 32. My BRV was giving me an average of 9 KM/Lit in city without AC. I am using 0W20 oil in cars After changing Honda genuine oil coated airfilter that was used for 7000 KM to a very simple Thailand filter the average increased to 12KM/Lit. Honda advised that their aifilter can be used for 10 K which was wrong. I think i will change Thailand airfilter after 3000KM considering our dusty roads. Next time i am going to check how the guard airfilter ( had a quite good experience with other car) and Havoline 5w30 synthetic works, heard that Caltax havoline 5W30 is a much better option than Honda oil

N7X is expected to replace BRV in the Asian market. BRV is already discontinued in the Indian market due to the expecting launch of N7X. But the 1.5 NA engine is a much disappointment for me. I was expecting 2.0 NA and 1.5 turbo powertrain.
