I was also in confusion to book or not. I saw many BRVs on road. They did not look nice between other vehicles. I decided to wait until next year for new city. Otherwise I will go for CIVIC 1.8 oriel.

yes. While it gets to 120+ easily, its pretty noisy there and as soon as you lift your foot off the accelerator it slows down immediately to around 90 kph ... I guess it doesnt have a very aerodynamic shape ... Also, it doesnt feel stable at 110+ ..

According to Honda website there is a difference of 4 inches in the width of HONDA CITY and HONDA BRV. But it looks way more wider than city. Did anybody actually measure the width of it. BRV owner can please do this for the sake of other peoples knowledge.

BRV is wider by 35mm as far as outer dimensions are concerned. However, on the inside it's tight for 3 passengers in second row. The main reason is that in city the centre cushion is shaped as per human hips for good seating support where as in BR-V it's not well cushioned because of folding seat.

Hi,
I received my BR-V Urban titanium almost a month ago.
However I am getting a unique vibration noise most probably from the box in the back where Jack & other tools are affixed.
Please confirm any other BR-V user is facing same issue & what is the solution. Even though its not a big deal but you get a slight irritation.

Kindly check if the spare Tyre nut is tight & jack is not loose in its place, another Brv owner was complaining the same in the showroom when he came for the 5000 km inspection, I was there for 10,000 km inspection of my Brv, it came out that his spare Tyre nut and jack were a bit loose which he himself admitted that he checked a few days back and might have left loose by him. Kindly check your vehicles for any such loose ends so that it does not irritates you while driving.

It is good decision. BRV is not a good choice for old people. Seats are much smaller than CITY. When I sit on driving seat it was much lower for person like me. I tried to increase the hight of seat but then steering comes in my lap and air bag was pointed to my balls instead of chest. Sales guy change the position of steering and I was feeling like sitting in APV. At the end when I sit in my CITY is was feeling more spacious and luxurious to me.

Thanks for the valuable information, I checked the same in the morning after dropping off the kids at school & put on some insulation (gatta) for checking. Some sounds have vanished but 1 sound coming from the seat belt area of driver side is persistant.
I al going to Honda Quideen tomorrow for 1000 checkup & I will raise the issue there.

Prior I had city & its seating espaically for driver is ideally designed, not tiring at all however BR-V drive is not that bad. My advantage which oversees all disadvantages that my sons & daughter can go out with their fav dad & dadi altogether in 1 car therefore I love this car more than any.

BR-V S (comparision with Altis 1.6) and everyday driving thoughts after 3 weeks

I got my BR-V S 3 weeks ago. Sold my 1.6 Altis 2016 to get this car, so this is sort of a comparison. Overall there are a few things that, for me, make owning a BR-V a very different experience. When it comes to driving experience, 1.6 Altis has a 4-speed automatic transmission, which is extremely 'jhatka' prone when accelerating. Its like you can drive the corolla only in 2 modes. 1) at very slow acceleration where you're just maintaining your speed. 2) you're tearing through roads like a mad …

I got a chance to measure both. BRV 2nd row at its widest point on the bottom seat is about 46.5 inches. City is about 47 inches, though the extra bit doesn't help in making it more comfortable with 3 full adults sitting.

First of all its a real headache to get a time from a 3S dealer as they are overly occupied. I gave my car & we carried the road test & the noise was clearly comming from inside the rear doors. I gave my car at 9:00 & got back at 6:00 in evening & they assured that the problem is solved however it is not.
I will get it check with the local person who are more experienced. rough estimate is that it might be the power lock because noise is coming same time from both sides.
