Yes the pics were from lahore, honda gateway. The color has been discontinued now for all models, brv, city and civic.

There is a new red, Carnelian Red. Check it out on the honda atlas website, though best to try and see it in person if you can find one.

BRV's last seats are too tight to sit comfortably. Avenza has better seats, but I don't know about the resale. I sat in the last seat of BRV in the straight up position and there is hardly any foot space. Any one think that going to Naran (12-14 hours drive) could be done comfortably ?The person must have an iron rod fitted in his back who would feel comfortable in the last seats. It might be ok for 1 kid aged upto 10 or so. By the way we can fit 4 normal persons in Toyota (a bit tightly). Same can't be said for the BRV where even 3 persons are tight.

Plus the trunk of the corolla is quite big as compared to BRV

I wanted to buy BRV but my brother is paying 9000 yearly as tax for new corolla and BRV will cost 20-22 thousand. The 1 or 2-3 km advantage over a corolla 1.3 cannot make up the difference of 12-14000 in tax each year.

By the way I don't understand how people get their cars registered in Islamabad while living in Lahore. What does the agent do for you

i thought the 3rd seats were just ok. I would have liked a bit more of leg room but for adults shorter than 5-7 I think they would be fine.

As for trunk, well you do get extra seats. You could rack mount luggage if need be with a full load of passengers.

I think overall its a good vehicle with the ability to carry more people safetly, espesiclly kids. I would want a child to have a dedicated seat with a seat belt rather than sitting in someones lap in a typical sedan. 2nd row is indeed tight for 3 adults but it does cater for families (with kids). All overseas promotional videos I have seen they showed 3 kids in the 2nd row and 2 adults in the 3rd.

Just visit the showroom with your family. Sit in it and feel if its comfortable for you or not. If it did not fit your needs City 1.5 Auto is far better than XLI. In Toyota lineup only grande is a good car.

• Its seat comfort on long routes
• any good for tours, like from KHI to ISL

take a test drive with your family before you decide to buy it. I sold mine BRV-S in July. Just few hundred Km driven. Fuel economy depends how you drive BRV, with light foot you can get 7-8KM in city and 10-12 on highway. If you already own a manual Honda city, you would find this BRV under power. Middle seats are very uncomfortable for long route drives. Iam not a fan of Suzuki but i still feel New VITARA is better option which you can get in 28-29 lacs.

Leg room is not less than any of sedan’s avrg with light foot is 9 to 10 in city secnd row seats are not very comfotable but still ok vitara is 4 seater brv is 6 seater

Unfortunately Honda has not appropriately positioned the seat belt buckles for the middle passenger of second row. The space available for middle passenger is at least less by 1 to 1.5 inch as compared to Honda City. This is probably due to 60:40 folding seats as well. However on close inspection I feel that they can make the space comfortable by slightly adjusting the location of seat belt buckles.
Besides I found the middle row seats very hard as compared to Honda City. It seems the local supplier of seats is not fabricating them well. I have gone through numerous BR-V reviews and there are no complaints about uncomfortable middle row. Honda Pakistan must do something about it.

anyone recommend good tires for BRV-S, local oem tire size is 195/60 R16 but imported tire only comes in 205/60 R16.

Try and stick to original specifications. If not, than go for 215/55-R16

2017 BR-V owner

Not sure why people complain about 3rd row seat space. I'm 178cm/96kg adult and they fit me just fine. Without touching 2nd row with my knees and there's still plenty of head room, even with the 3rd row seat in upright position. If you incline the 3rd row seat there's even more head room.

Yes, your knees are a bit higher, than on 1st or 2nd row, and it feels like you are squatting a bit, but that's compromise for comfortable head room for tall people. I think it's the right one.

I found 3rd row seats in BR-V more comfortable than in Toyota Fortuner or Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. Or at least the difference is subtle.

But I didn't sit on 3rd row as a passenger for a long trip in any of those cars. Just showroom impressions.
