Yes, its true, the seats of the BRV do not fold down completely into the floor, and protrude upwards. Thus, the vehicle can carry bags (lots of them) but nothing bigger. Its an MPV with lots of space, but will not be able to carry bigger items.

Its just amazing. I used to own corolla gli 2016 and just added 500k more to it and got this car in june. Perks of what I felt over my gli was that it was really spacious, atleast had a single airbag and the fuel consumption as it is automatic was brilliant.
Drove this car till khunjerab pass soon after the deliever and had done 15000km yet and jt runs great. Drove it with 6 passengers with cargo all the way till the top. No flaw as per my perception. The drive was smooth throughout, consumption from khi to lahore was of just 6300 rupees. With ac on. And its a daily runner, I dont see any flaw according to the price i got it in.

You have to judge it in the price bracket in which it is launched. Do share pics of vehicles within the same price bracket and compare them accordingly. I think that within 2.4 Million it is the best MPV type vehicle available. There are few things which would have made it a better buy but for those items no one is willing to pay more price.

Honda sold 1248 units of brv in November. Almost nearing Cultus sale numbers, impressive considering its the first MPV type vehicle to do these numbers in Pakistani market.

If you say to judge it with MPV, pls have a look at its yearly fixed cost of 24,000 (token tax in Lahore). No other car is charged so much.

Any person who buys it will have to bear 10-12,000 additional burden yearly.

So one - two extra seats come at a very high price.

that is why there are so many BRv's on sale , People buy it for the Chaska only and resell it back

I check this thing in showroom. Third row seats are very fragile and if you put something heavy on folded seats there are chances they they will be broken. you can have only some space by folding and reclining the third seats at the back of second row. Folded second row seats have no use except to get access to third row.

I believe this is due to Honda Atlas' clever strategy of opening booking without showing the actual car and just telling that a 7 seater is available in 23 lacs. People went mad and many, including me, went to showroom to get more info and book the car somewhere in Mar/April. Thankfully I hesitated and thought to first see the car while my friend who was with me booked it (instead of Oriel). Now his BRV is in showroom since last 3 weeks while he has not taken the delivery yet in hope to sell it off. Now he is finally taking the delivery, as he already sold off his old car.

Long story short, we won't most likely be seeing BRV sales of 1248 unit in future as a wise man once said..'.Fool me once, Shame on you, Fool me twice... well you can't fool me twice'

Ppl ik who bought brv are happy with their purchase, it's a family vehicle designed for the third world where ppl can't afford a good 7 seater and it really isn't bad. You can't expect a car like brv to drive like a sedan and third rows are cramped in most crossovers built on a platform like this but the point is they're fine for kids. We don't have seating restrictions yet in pakistan, third world countries who've adopted seating restrictions the brv makes a lot of sense there and I hope Pakistan will adopt seating restrictions too. Cars like brv, avanza, rush, mobilio, ertiga are ideal family haulers for countries like us. They aren't any aerodynamic champions and I also don't expect them to be because that's not their purpose.

Quite the contrary. In my mind and in many others I know of, we had a great perception of BRV by looking at the pics and before it was actually visible physically. At least I expected the exterior design to be somewhat like HRV/CRV/Vezel with small differences in looks obviously big difference in the machinery.

The design however from sides and back is so pathetic it is beyond belief actually as it could have simply be improved without doing anything new just following the regular pattern. They did not have to downgrade the looks from the back and especially the sides (the weird side windows/body of front & rear doors) just because it is available in 23 lacs. Or maybe the low pricing already factored in the funny shape of the car. Again it is just my opinion and some would like the shape as it is not bad when looking just from the front.

It looks great from front and sides. However I didn't like it's narrow and high profile from the back when I first saw it on road. But I seem to absorb it now

Good to know, Actually I like the vehicle in many aspects like ground clearance, CVT and Airbag. But I did not like seats at all. They make them small to fit seven in number. But there should be an option for the people who dont need seven seats, Five seats like CITY would be enough for many if made of proper size. I drive it for a small distance and driver seat is not comfortable for me. May be because I never drive a CROSSOVER before and using sedans since 1989.
