nice paintjob
why dont u take the tires of insted of cleaning them afterwards!!???nice job BTW!!
nice paintjob. . .
Repainting the rims is fine but what is the use of painting stock brake calipers abd drums?
haven't you seen them done before ?
they look good...thats it
People just took it as a fashion. Our people especially. It's like copying ideas of Brembo calipers. We curse China for making fakes but in the end we end up doing the same sh*t.Oh yeah and how can i forget the fake discs which are availible in market.
i think just colouring it up looks batter....cuz most of the ppl dont even know about such brake calipers
@disc brake
will you belive me i saw a uncle driving accord 2007 with same thingi in rear tyres and in actual it has 4 wheel disc brakes...
maybe his driver did or some 1 really stupid
those face "discs" can also prevent the wheels getting covered in brake dust while providing the required airflow to the brake. but i doubt that is why he put them on.
as for painting calipers,.. i'm in favour of it. after all we all paint our car to look better even though the paint does nothing to protect the metal (that is done by the base coat. i'm not in favour of "overpainting" the calipers though,.. like in this case how the painter has painted the pad and the part where the wheel bolts on. easily fixed though.
the results must look great once back on the car when compared to the original style.
the brakes should have been powder coated with heat resistant powder/paint whatever its called. also i think if the calipers and made a little smooth before painting, it would look good
that cost alot..around 2k or even more for it
The rims look good, but they would be better with their cups on.
I have a couple of suggestions for you.
You should put the undershield on the arrow marked location to save your engine, especially the pulleys from wheel splashes. it will increase their life. You should also change the rubber boot of the steering in the oval shaped marking, it will also double its life.
Both the efforts are expected to save you from bigger expenses in near future.
