So fully synthetic 5w-30 is recommended? I guess liquimoly will be best then. And have to change oil, that is why I was asking. Thanks alot everyone.

Bhai I would say total quartz 9000. Very good reviews so far. ..and reasonably priced

LiquiMoly is good, amsoil is the best. Jitna gurh utna meetha. Total quartz 9000 from a reputed dealer is very economical and good, don't use it for more than 5k km. If using total, i recommend you add mos2 or ceratec. Liquimoly oils already have mos2.

W.S. I would suggest fully synthetic 5w-30 from some reputed brand, meeting latest API SN /SN Plus and / or ILSAC GF-5 criteria.

E.Oil: LM 5-40W (Purple gallon)
Fuel: Shell Regular (60) + HOBC(40)
TP: 30 psi
Mileage: 11 km/hr in city
15 km/hr on Highway

No engine Oil change won't change mileage.
The only things which changes is that I change it after 7000 kms.

Salam Brothers,
I need your guidance as going through alot of recommendations made me a bit confused.

The thing is I have bought a used Corolla Altis 2017 (40K odo) from our family friend in May 2021 and he guided me to change the engine oil after Trip B reaches 5000km.

He bought it brand new from Toyota Creek (Korangi) & the initial oil changes were done through dealership. But afterwards, he changed his mind & switched to Japanese Engine Oil which comes in Metal container. He said to purchase it from Auto1 but I am having double thoughts as there are other options that all of you were discussing above.

Plus my monthly mileage is hardly 550km with family as I prefer using my bike for daily commute. Fuel average fluctuates from 8.8-10.5 to 11.2 after tank refuel depending on traffic.

Need your guidance.

use 5W-30 engine oil. Buy from your Trusted shop or from brand name fuel station only. Change interval shall be 5000+ kms without any doubts.
