Assalam-O-Alaikum everyone... Wanted to know that what are the differences between Corolla Gli 1.6 AT, Altis 1.6 AT SR and Altis 1.6 AT. Thanks in advance.

@poster gli a.t is 1.6 auto has no cruisetronic thingy.
altis 1.6 auto has cruisetronic.
altis1.6 s.r has sunroof thats it.
imo a/t's arent good as compared to mt's when you talk about 1.6 1zrfe.
go for 6speed manual if you want to enjoy the response.

if u have a budget of 23 lakhs, of course, AT SR is the bet option then.

The models u have mentioned are simply different trims in the same car, no technical difference.

+1 for Altis ATs' sucks acceleration

Altis's interior also sucks :S Everytime I drive Altis; I start loving my Civic more. Get the Civic :P; in PKDM; its got the finest drive and interior. Get it before they launch the new pathetic 9th Civic :-#

kept 8th gen civic alot,i love my 6speed altis and term it better than 8th gen's drive in city,on highway 8th gen is better.acceleration wise i found 6speed altis extermely responsive,after 3k rpm it goes like whuuuuushhhhhhhhh.....

khurram bhai i have a nuskha for you(for better throttle response) try exploring it,else i'l tell you one day there is one altis A.T(omer bhai owns that)omer hamdani,he is at pw too.whenever that car comes at meet,it do the bang :D,eats,swifts,r18's bla bla bla.
don't get depressed by the decession you made,explore it else i'l tell you how to play with it:)

the 1.6 AT does not have triptronic transmission...simple 4 speed transmission

Please share the Nuskha, is it ECON On/Off thing?

It does throttle adjustment? I thought being an Indu$ product it might be just light on/off thing. Havnt tried disabling ECON thing yet.

Both are different. Altis meter is beautiful. While GLi is exactly the same 1.3 like, just engine and transmission of altis comes with it.

to me a drag is ore dependent on torque as compared to horse power.
