I have booked my altis 1.6 2021 which toyota is saying to deliver at the end of May. What major changes are you guys expecting from this car? Big question is are they gonna change the gear transmission? From 4 speed to 6 or 7?

Did dealership sales person told you about changes to come?

There are not going to be any changes mechanically i.e. engine and transmission will remain same... 1.6 L with 4 spd auto.

There may be cosmetic changes which any dealership should confirm to you.

Brother i am not in Pakistan at the moment. So the booking of my car was done by a friend. Who is not very hard on these things. Is 4 speed ect slow or heavy?

Perfectly fine but old technology, doesn't give the fuel average that a mated CVT gives and isn't as smooth and seamless as a single gear belt-driven CVT, meaning you can feel the gears changing. But this transmission doesn't give the annoying rubber-banding effect like the CVT.

Its not slow but its relatively older technology but still robust and durable for longer runs.
