Altis 1.6 front end vibration

AoA brothers,

Bought altis 1.6 in Dec 2017 Facelift.Initial experience of 3000km was excellent as car crossed 5000km issues arose in my car.The main core issue till date which is not even resolved by Toyota Central,Toyota Eastern and IMC Itself is vibration at all speeds,clunking noise from front end on bumps like metal to metal contact tuk tuk on straight road bumps,cat eyes everywhere and when cross 80km/h speed steering wheel shakes like something is pulling apart in a go.
I have a bit of steering movement too right and left while driving,above 100km/h front dashboard shakes,steering wheel shakes.Left side inner cv joint have too much play i can wiggle the rod with hand loose.
Got alignment and balancing done like 4 to 5 times still no luck.I will be thankful to anyone who will help me solve this mystery.
Current ODO of car is 28k.
Also want to tell that car is eating tyre day by day front ones are bald and rear ones are ok.

Sorry to hear about ur car experience.one cant expect such issues in zero meter car.

brother its a pain in that nowadays for me i am not able to run car above 80km/h due to that shudder from front end.

It can be anything from a loose joint to faulty suspension part. I once had an alto that used to pull left. I had done allignment multiple times but the problem remained. At last i took the car to my mechanic in pindi. He removed the jumper / balance rod placed it on ground and looked at it for a few minutes. Then he asked his chota to install the rod in reverse (right end in left socket and left end in right socket). problem solved

I have lived in khi for a v short duration (8 months) he was recommended to me by a friend and he actually solved a chronic suspension related prob of my car. So i hope he is of help to you if you can visit him

U need to get ur front suspension complete examined and as well as check your rims.

Full front suspension need to be taken out, with axles then need to checked .... however all this opening should be done by dealership under warranty

brother rims were checked not a single bend in rim.used my other corolla rims but problem persists there.

Yes i am pressurizing Dealership but they are making lame excuses but will get it done in warranty.Its a serious matter.

brother i have vibration that is in all speeds,and car drive is also not smooth up and down movement felt like left and right...

I hv worked at a honda dealership and there were some eps cases for previous civic....the dealership couldnt do much until the car owner reached honda authorities....the whole eps...whole car wire harness was replaced in warranty

Try not to go local mechanics yet.....Stand on dealerships Head and higher management in IMC

it is an underwarranty issue and shall be addressed with the respective dealership. keep track of name & job dates and write an email to indus with issue high lighted mentioning dealership mess. keep track , always mention your invoice no & date to ensure Indus knows which dealership is doing hanky panky with the customer. do not let any other workshop do any work but the Toyota dealership.

it is a front end issue and i suspect the whole front end ( gad-ri aka cross member ) is mis-aligned with the engine / transmission mounts & top insulators of front shock-absrobers. a close inspection can reveal cracked insulators and engine . transmission mounts.

Just a piece of advice. If you want to overlook the warranty then there is a very good mechanic in Karachi One of the best and educated mechanic also he is a mechanical engineer. He does all the work by himself with his own hands.

Just visit him and explain your problem and Inshallah matter will be solved. But please make an appointment before going there otherwise you will waste your time because mostly he gives home service as well

thanks brother i have contacted to IMC and they assured me to cover my car in warranty.On monday Insha Allah have it checked and will ask them to open front steering rack,axles each and everything apart to inspect what is the culprit.I will post a video soon of my inner cv joints which are under my observation that are making the problem.

I guess suspension or axle rode work needs to be done.
