Altis 1.6 vs Altis 1.8 vs Altis Grande

I just wanted to ask what are the additional features/advantages of Altis Grande over the regular Altis 1.8
What is the price difference, and if someone may. Please tell the differences in Altis 1.6 and 1.8

If going to the "SHOP" was the easiest thing, PakWheels would have died long ago. This forum exists for people like me who ask questions. Some basic differences are seen at the IMC website but still it at times skips a few points. So instead of the "SHOP" I thought of getting help from the forum that has been helpful every time I needed information.

I'm in an early decision making position and the showroom is not the best place to get an opinion from. You have a point but I can't know it all by myself and do the calculations.

The idea is to know all key differences in these models, the decision will be based on the cost and benefit associated with all models. That would be my call in the end (OR MY DAD's)

I have also noticed that fuel economy of 1.8 variants is better than 1.6 ones.

I own Altis 1.8 cvti cruisetronic new may model. Mine gives 12-13 within city and 15-17 on long routes.
You can confirm all these features from indus motor website brochure of Grande. All the specs are given there.

No offence man I wasn't being smart arsed yes it is a shop u can over do it as much u like np some smart people call it show room mostly in developed countries they call it car dealership now to the point if you go to car shop or dealer uraelf every thing will be there front of u to judge urself that's how we buy the car have a feel ourselves which is more pleasing on the eye maybe Pakistan works differently

I didn't expect this to get dragged this much. I'm sorry if I offended you. I agree with the word dealership. In the States the word Shop kind of was used as a garage or what we call workshop here, as in the repair place. So you know. Dealership or Showroom is always good

All Altis 1.8 and 1.6 have rack and pinion (kangi) which is different from 1.3 xli and gli.
All Altis 1.8 variants have independant mcpherson strut at the front while the 1.6 and 1.3 have semi indepandant type mcpherson strut.
Yes, there's a clear difference. Even road grip is quite different.

The abs brake unit of gli is different from that of Altis 1.6 and Altis 1.8

presently the specs page of corolla 1.3 and altis on the indus motor website show same suspension .. but i think indus introduced front macpherson strut in xli/gli in latest facelift model .. earlier the gli/xli had some other suspension .. but do verify from from toyota motors

The Only Semi Independent Type Suspension I Know Off Is Twist Beam....Maybe I Am too Young To See One..

Never Heard Or See Semi Independent Macpherson As Macpherson Comes Under Independent Suspension Setup
