@309, when i saw the new corolla for the first time, i felt like puking cuz i saw the rear end first, when i saw it from the front it looked like it was gna fall apart rite from the middle!

Sir ye to corolla ki history rahi hay. whenever new shape launches, whoever looks at it, he feels like puking but then he gets used to it. Infact he has to get used to it, after all taxi b to chalani hay

^^^Remember when last shape launched in 02? People didn't like it in the beginning but then "chalo thik hay". I still remember when i visited toyota frontier in 02 to c the new shape as my frnd who was sale rep there invited me. To my amaze, all sales reps were saying, we have launched this shape to compete BMW level car and the front is so much identical to BMW. I was like The same guy is now sales rep in suzuki tayyab motors (3s dealer in peshawar)

hey when this car was launched i dd not liked it much even from the outside but then slowly slowly it got my attention in looks only. as far as performance is concerned then there is no match between these cars, civic is 100 times more fun to drive and grip is just awesome yaar . i bet that new corolla also cannot take sum turns at high speeds which the civic can easily do. its just that i only like the exterior of the new Altis only and not those crapy xli and gli.

are sure that was taxi?? cuz theres this driving school in faisal town, i mean they teach drivng n they have a black city! zafar nadeem plaza main hai, i see thier cars alot in the city, it could be that one!

@309, yesterday i met this guy who was testing out his new altis n we had a little chat, i found some amazing facts about the car!
well first of all, the triptonic gear has only 4 gears in manual mode (according to him)
the car is a bit shaky at 140 but then calms down at 160 only to start shaking again at 170
the eurostar tyres suck big time
the driving position is ok but u cant see the hood completely which HE said u could in the previous model!

n best of all, its brakes are a WEE bit better than the previous ones! n he has both models at home!!!

n one more thing, i asked him about Honda Civic, he said its drive is better n its more stable but personally i dont like Civic!
PAINDOO tha, he had an iphone, i asked wifi chk karo n he said, "isme wifi hai??? "
n i was like, DUHH
