Altis Grande 2020 - Color and Wraps

Hello everyone,

Needed some advice from you guys, have decided to buy an Altis Grande 1.8 CVTi as my second car, wand wanted recommendations/advice on color choices, the nearby dealer only has it in Black, so couldn't see it first hand.

Am in Karachi DHA area, an area with a lot of dust, which leaves scratches on the car, my previous car was a pearl black swift and was a nightmare to maintain.

Not too keen on black, even though am getting glass coating done, will this make maintaining Black color easy? If not, what other colors would you recommend (besides white, and graphite (also bought a GLi in graphite so that colors a no go either).

Secondly, what exactly is wrapping? Is it intended to preserve the paint? Does it affect the paint negatively?

How about phantom brown color?. Glass coating will protect the paint for 1-3 years but dust is more visible on black paint. Wrapping is covering up the paint with vinyl or paper. It is not intended to use for preserving paint as people use it for changing the look of the vehicle but it does protect the original paint of the car.

Good suggestion, will visit a showroom that has brown on display, brown looks good in pics but pics can only tell one so much. Thanks.

wrapping is done to enhance looks of your car. but once it got wear and tears the looks become pathetic. any dark color in you described area will not suit and will be really hard to maintain. try to choose some light color like mild silver.

Unfortunately, yes, you are right, though graphite grey might be okay yeah? Will just need to convince my bro it's okay to have both cars (GLI and GRANDE) in the same color. haha.

Bro go for superwhite . Grande looks like an absolute queen in superwhite and its very easy to maintain as well with excellent paint retention and resale. Plus you can vinyl wrap the roof in glossy black and it’ll look awesome.

Silver stays the same 12 months of the year. Looks Pretty too easy to maintain. Looks decent and cool (thanda cool not shookha cool) at the same time.

That's true about silver, the looking cool bit. But I'm future if you need to repaint a panel, it would be almost impossible to match the color.

Was considering Silver, saw a few vids on YT with Grande in Silver (Pakistani version), but you kinda ruined it with this fact :P. So silver is out.

Silver and white are the easiest colors too match. And corolla comes in 1D4 basic silver. 1F8 was the darker silver.

If you painter can't match white and silver then he cannot match anything.

Other then that a 100% of a similar batch from factory can vary on 2 separate cars.

I've kept a silver Honda City for the past 5 years. Believe me, the changed colour over a few years due to environmental exposure is not easy to match. I've been through it. Honda 3S (Sharae Faisal Karachi) were doing it for me when both doors on the right had to be painted and well, the results are not something to write home about.
Others may have had a different experience.
Otherwise, I love the colour for its low maintenance. The car looks generally clean in most conditions and looks great with proper cleaning and waxing.

Couldn’t agree more. Gone are those days when white on corolla was considered to be pendu or boring. This superwhite looks awesome & i’m glad that you opted for it. Allah mubarak karey!

I bought corolla just because of Super white color, and it's looks perfect on it.
