Altis Grande 2022 infotainment’s poor audio quality

I have just bought new Corolla Grande, I am extremely disappointed with the sound quality of the infotainment system, even audio quality of yaris is better than grande, i just want to ask what are the possible options to improve it and what is the cause of poor audio quality?
For example, is it infotainment system or speakers are the cause of poor audio quality?
What components can I change without voiding the warranty to improve sound quality?
Anyone else who went through this please help me in this regard.

Everyone I've known has said sound quality is average. In order to upgrade you can choose 2 paths. Either get better components and maybe a sub while retaining the same infotainment system. Or you could go with a full SQ Build. @makhdoom123 had a grande with a killer build. He changed out the infotainment system and all the spellers with a. Custom made setup in the boot. Depends on what you want really. Maybe sound quality is affected by outside sound in which case you install sound deadening sheets.

The sound is good when connected over BT from phone.

Consider below values and you will get the best it can deliver.

As the music starts tweek the loudness to get it as desired.

Yes it changed audio from pathetic to powerful but the quality is still missing. One more thing I noticed that rear speakers are of very cheap quality. I will definitely change all speakers at first.

My two more questions:
Can i update firmware of infotainment? If yes how?
Where is setting called enhanced volume?

I finally used this setting adjusted to my liking.

I think Enhanced Volume feature is not present.

The firmware update is in the setting/config app. But it is done usualy by the warranty supplier if the HU, plz search the Corolla 11Gen FL thread for the details of your city.

I have not done the upgrade since the car was delivered in 2017.

With the passage of time Audio quality has improved a lot. I think speakers need break-in.

The signal sampling and processing plays a vital role in quality of sound.
The flagship mobiles of reputed brand deliver good as they carry better hardware. Similar for the SD cards.

Its my observation that the playback from flagship phones over BT gives better sound quality than SD card.

Yes you are absolutely right, i use iphone 12pm to play music in my car.

You can tweak it and tailor to your likeness.

It’s better to add aftermarket speakers than rely and complaining about factory fitted.
For door choose 60 to 80 watts rms and make sure to get sound dampening done on front doors other wise it will start to rattle.
For rear choose 80 to 90 rms speakers either 6x9 or components both works great.
Now come to amplifier your minimum pick should be 90 to 100watts rms @4ohm x 4channels.
Install this setup you won’t be needing woofer because those speakers will do great job.
