Altis Grande CVT 1.8 a bit slow in pick after spark plug change

I replaced my Altis Grande 2016 spark plugs after about 60,000 kms.

I've noticed since then that the car is no longer as responsive as it previously was. While it accelerates fine at higher RPM and can easily touch 160kph, but at slower speeds it's a bit sluggish.

For example, if I'm driving normally and slow the car down over a speed breaker or turn, it isn't as responsive as it previously was to pick up. It gets a bit slow to pick-up and isn't responsive enough as it was.

Any help in this will be greatly appreciated. The dealer has assured me the spark plugs are genuine and OEM (denso iridium)

The throttle body was cleaned and CVT oil changed.

Yes, the pan was opened and cleaned. I got the job done from an experienced mechanic in Gizri, Karachi. Though now I'm a bit skeptical of the workshop

Probably the plugs are fake maybe,u may remove one plug and post closeup pic of plug tip here.

The worse already happened.
You have underfill cvt at the moment without any type of calibration or whatsoever. Pan shouldn't be opened at all costs unless and until you're changing its filter.

Do one thing now. Go to toyota or any oil change shop. Purchase original tin pack can of toyota cvt fe oil, drain the cvtfe oil by opening drain nut first and then open inner filler tube. Normal amount of oil that comes out by this method is around 1.9-2.2L. In your case it will be around 1.3-1.4L. Drain oil by this method and fill back 2.0L oil only.
You will have 2.0L in spare and repeat the method after every 40000kms or 2 years.
Car must be hot or at optimal temperature when you drain cvt oil.

Make sure you get calibration of cvt done from toyota after oil change it is must after pan opening.

New oem plugs don't need any gaps; furthermore, they are iridiums.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I was able to fix this problem at home with help of another forum. I simply reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery terminals for 15 mins. This has brought ECU to factory default

Unless you buy Toyota Packaging meant for a specific car why would the gap be pre-adjusted to your specific car ???????????????
I bought plug from Hamza Younas for GLI and checked the gap and they were 0.9-1.1
Factory recommendation is 1-1.1
I regapped the 0.9 ones

If you go through Denso or an NGK catalogue you'll find that they specific plugs for each and every engine. For my City's D13B4 engine the catalogue recommended BKR6E11 plugs, when installing them they did not need to be gapped.

Do they regap the plugs by simple nose pliers and vernier calliper or some other equipment?
I would never disturb that tip metal. Better buy genuine recommended ones having consistent gap.

I have a gap tool myself. Toyota Workshops least bother about anything. I know iridium dont need gapping but normal ones for Gli do.
Plug bought from dealership also had 0.9 to 1.2 gap
I had to adjust them to 1-1.1 myself

Hamza Younas Rawalpindi is as genuine as you can get.
