Alto 2008 making humming noise in 3rd gear

Salam everyone,

I just got a used Alto 2008 model and according to my mechanic, the engine is perfect. It's running perfectly fine till 2nd gear. The problem is that when I shift into 3rd gear, it starts producing a humming noise (very annoying), not a satisfying driving experience. The noise exists in 3rd, 4th & 5th gear as well. Is there any problem with bearing, gear, or anything else? Need Suggestions!

i am 98% sure it is wheel bearing noise.
and 2% of it could be gear.

get bearings checked first.

I'll have it checked, however I notice that it gets more nosiy as I start accelerating in 3rd gear and beyond. But when I press the clutch and release the accelerator while in the same gear, the sound stops.

check gear oil
if that isnt the issue
gear has to be taken down for repair
