Alto AGS Radiator Water Lever

Hello,
I just opened my Alto AGS's radiator cap today and find out that water level is at bottom (picture attached) but its normal in water reservoir bottle. Upon inquring from someone I have came to know that water level inside radiator is at bottom and nothing to worry. I am new user of Car please give your kind advise.

Yes, Green Colour Coolant factory loaded. But when I see empty Radiator I pour tab water to fill it (It get filled may be in 20 - 30 ml).

So you have to top it up regularly? Then that's mean there is a leak

It happened yesterday for the first time, please guide at what level the coolant should b in the picture i shared?

What was the need to check the radiator cap?

Was the expansion tank empty?

Already told i am new user, just open by chance, all other water levels are ok, only i found radiator in this state. Someone told me its normal, please guide.

brother, when car is cold, it is normal for coolant to be at the lower level in the radiator, but there should still at least be a layer of it at the bottom .. it should not be this dry. Fill it up and observe again to see.
Also take a picture of your reservoir bottle when the car is cold to see if it is at normal level in reservoir bottle or not ?

you never need to open the radiator cap unless the overflow tank is showing abnormal level, meaning its either overflowing or is completely empty - thats when you need to check the radiator cap.

This information is also in the book thats in the glovebox of the dashboard.

if you remove the cap while the car is tilted (parked on slope) the level will be incorrect. And it will take a few drivecycles to burp out any ingested air. So just leave it alone and watch the overflow tank level. Do not use tap water to top off because "buss yehi thaa uss waqt"

hard tap water minerals will destroy japanese specification coolants like genuine suzuki green, toyota and honda. They literally form crystals due to that.

Does hard tap water also damages Caltex Havoline coolant?

Not that much for havoline/dexcool. All it will do is make a small muddy mess which will end up in the expansion tank, unless you add salty/sea water, then its real bad news.

if I can't find distilled water, so better to use mineral water that we drink?

Because few years ago, I bought AGS battery distilled water, when I open it after some time it was not simple water۔ It looks like somewhat acid.

Drinking water has a tastemaker added to it which are basically a small dosage of mineral salts,

Ask around your city for bottling outlets, they can sell you 0-10 tds water.
