By bumper guard you mean those steel pipes install on front and back bumper? The ones we usually see on Vans?
If yes then It can be installed. I have seen 1 or two altos with it.

You can search for bumper guards on OLX or talk to any good denter.
I am not sure what modification or alterations will be needed.

In my opinion, it will have more cons than pros like:
Ugly shape
Heavy weight on Chassis

the best and most efficient designs of bumper guards i witnessed were in Dhakka, Bangladesh

reason being, bumper to bumper traffic all the time, they can simply bump into each other without minor breakage or damage.

its just a simple steel pipe at the edge of bumper, neatly tucked, didnt look bad atall to me.

used to be a must thing on every sedan, new or old.
