Alto Heater How does it work?

Hello guys

I need help regarding Heater of Alto VXR 2007.
How does the heater work ? In cold weather specifically today was 3 degree early morning in Islamabad. I tried the heater and it just won't throw enough warm air most of time its same cold air..
Help needed is there anything I can do to get heater to throw warm air early in morning? Or is it like this for all carby cars..

Missing thermostate valve or the heater block will be choked , it needs cleaning - for that mechanic has to pull out the dashboard and take out that little heater core.This sucks alot.Its because we ppl love to use water and in the end these are its result. Corrosion occurred.

Didn't knew about this I thought only the warm air comes from engine and that's how the heater works..

Its the hot coolant which flows around the heater core and the blower blows off that hot air to the cabin [emoji4]
Heater core is similar to the car radiator but the size is tiny
