Salam guys, I've been owning Alto RS (Ags trans )for 2 1/2yrs now, during the purchase fuel economy was not my priority since I was driving Boss for 2 years which gave no more than 12-13km/l in city commute. Day & night difference b/w the cars & their technologies but Alto has an even more extended edge compared to Boss in terms of fuel average. But the problem is that when I'm communicating with Desi/ene-charge Alto owners they get fuel economy near to company claimed figures but for mine it's not the case. For instance the information available on the internet the minimum figure claimed by company is 18, even in the 2 reviews on Pakwheels' youtube channel the owners claim the same average meanwhile on a good day my car has only been able to achieve no more than 15 that too on a very light foot (with very slow acceleration & rpm not exceeding 3k.
While the meter displays 17.5 constantly the actual consumption in way different, I sometimes do 100% high octance, some times 50-50 & sometimes 30-70 but the consumption remains the same. So either my car has some issue although it is always tuned on time, or the people are taking figures from the meter or these are the actual realistic figures the people just hide them.
