ALTO VXR AC REFRIGERANT replacing R134a with R12

Hello Pwers,

I have Alto VXR , it has sanden compressor and may be sanden condensor and all sanden system. I know we can charge system with R12 refrigerant and the purpose of charging my system with R12 is because this refrigerant has better performance than R134a and R134a in system struggles to be cool in hot dayd.All I want to know is that,

1.What amount of R12 refrigerant will be required and
2. What Oil do I have to add to the compressor ? Or should I leave it as it is. I have heard every Refrigerant needs suitable oil?
3. Do I have to get my system flushed or I can leave condensor etc as it is?

Experts please help me out will post results soon .

R12 is poisonous if leaked inside the cabin
Thats why it was replaced by r134

Thanks for reply as far as i know it was replaced because of its environment affaects. It is not Ozone friendly.

It says use only Sp 10 oil. Dont know if they provide same for R12. I have heared people arw using R12 in Multuflow condensors and they have great cooling. At the time when R12 was used there were not Mutliflow condensors. Multiflow were specially for R134a because this refrigerant doesnt want to be cooled down . And multiflow gives efficient cooling effect to the refrigerant.

I have seen some forums they are recomending to put Mineral Oil or AlkylBenzene Oil. Both are compatible with R12. I am confused on which Mineral Oil to use! And what viscosity. If i were to use SP 10 there was no such question related to viscosity but since I want to change R13ra with R12 such questions needs to be satisfied first .

No sir it also affects your health badly if leaked insdie cabin

But I reallt need chilling AC and during hot days ac cooling becomes pathetic.

Thats because of poor insulstion of our cars
Make your car more insulated
Use foam on side cards and on thas well
Also check gas pressuere
Use multi flow condensor andevaporator in car thats the best you can do

Do u own alto? Well i don't know exact amount of refrigerant to add in system. If sombody could tell me what amount we need. Then i can topup refrigerant

Well sir my main.concern is that i want excellent cooling not matter which refrigerant I can charge to my system either it is R134a or R13. I don't trust those Ac technicians all.they want is to take out money out our pocket. I have some.equipment with me Like I have Old compressor to do vaccum job and had lower pressure gauge just don't have the car low pressure port connector.

Its quite cheap

Yes brother, only thing which confuses me is that how can I add oil to compressor and how much refirgerant I can topup. Or what pressure is needed!
