Hello Experts, Please guide:
Background:
I have Pak Suzuki Alto VXR AGS 2023, Which I bought in the Jun, 23 and Later I parked it for straight two years as I was out of country. So I started using it since last two weeks and It just completed 1000KM on the odo meter. Before using it, I took it to the dealership for the Engine Oil and Oil Filter Change as it was parked for two years. So I took it to the dealership for the service at 500KMs.
The Service Advisor at the dealership asked the mechanic to take a test drive and check whether anything else needs to be done or not. The Mechanic during the test drive Gave it Full throttle to test the car at the limits and also to check the performance. Before the test drive I was driving it very light foot as per the company's recommendations for less than 1000KMs and also I did not want to floor it before getting the engine oil changed.
Query:
After the Service (Engine Oil, Oil filter and car wash) when I drove back to home, I heard a sound like 'KRICH' when the car shifts the gear, A quick summary is given below:
1- When I shift from N to D or N to R, It produces that 'Krich' Sound.
2- When the car upshifts itself during drive from 1st to 2nd, it produces that 'Krich' Sound and then runs smoothly.
3- And in case of downshift from 3rd to 2nd and 2nd to 1st, It produces that 'Krich' Sound which is quite noticeable in case of downshift.
I want to ask whether this AGS behavior (Sound) is normal? Or did the test drive damages the clutch or AGS or anything else? Or Am I just overthinking and this sound is normal in all AGS cars?
P.S: I am not sure whether that sound was present before taking the car to the dealership as I did not pay much attention but I believe that the shift was smooth before the service.
