Aluminium or copper?

I am getting a new radiator installed in my city sx8 tomorrow, I am unable to find a new copper one for the car, only chinese aluminium ones (6500 pkr from nasir autos). Should I go ahead and install it or get the existing one repaired?

Aluminum or copper doesn't matter too much. Just make sure you're getting it from a reliable shop. And please don't bother with old radiator repairs, it's usually futile as new problems keep popping up.

Cars of today came with aluminum radiators from factory.Go for aluminum one if u can't find copper one

Radiators from the factory are of good quality, whereas I think chinese ones are subpar. Any specific brands or shop I should go to?

Chinese one are also good.Go for it.I don't know any specific place.

copper sheds heat quite a lot faster than aluminium. Older Hondas from the 80s had copper radiators. The reason you wont see them today are due to their insane cost.

If you can find a true radiator repair shop which can hand make new end tanks to the exact shape your car takes then they would be great. Otherwise buy a new one.

If your car has auto transmission then original branded radiators have a very good heat exchanger in their tanks, the replacement ones are not that good.

Yup, I was aware of copper's better heat dissipation properties that's why I wanted it. I am unable to find a shop of such kind, I've heard about a few being in Jamshed road but I just don't trust the workmanship of these people.
And the car's a manual. Can I expect a good quality one from Nasir Autos? It's my first time changing a radiator as I bought this car second hand, I've used coolant in all previous cars and never had any issues, this one was abused before I bought it.
