Want to know that mostly people say its underpower
Is any one using toyota fortuner 2.7 petrol 4x4 version want honest review i will travel northern on this so how will be the engine response

2700cc engine in a fortuner is bad choice for an suv with such high price tag.
my immediate boss is regretful of his choice. it is a fuel guzzler with hopeless acceleration figures. It is a Gli with 660 engine Fortuner performs much better with 3400 cc engine

am driving it number of times when we are out to outpost field survey. Seriously it is not better then my Altis 1.8 2017. 2700 2019 model fortuner feels heavy and under powered.

we drive 500 kms 1 way to out posts area non gravel track towards north west of sindh balochistan border, i know what am posting here. northern areas is easy biker go there, people travel to north in Aqua Vitz Coure and Mehran

There is no 3400cc in fortuner in Pakistan. There is only 2.7L and 2.8L 1gdftv diesel also known as sigma 4.

Drove a 2 wheel drive karachi to lahore. Seriously under powered. 4x4 with the 2700 would be worse.

Go for the desiel sigma 4 variant.

Comparing underpowered with a 1800cc corolla which was makhan malai compared to the under powered Fortuner.

Rest assured it is okay for city drive, 7 seater. But you cannot over take a Corolla in it.

The 2.7 4X4 petrol is as underpowered as a similarly equipped Prado TX, TX-L. If you've driven it and are fine with it, then good. There are thousands of Prados on the roads with same engine all over the country. I drive a Sigma4, however, the 2.7 4X4 is perfectly capable of traveling anywhere in Pakistan.

It does not feel as agile as a Corolla and Civic 1.8, but it can get the job done. Pretty much anything you throw at it. Good luck.
