When you have brands like shell, chevron, BP, total and mobil with their actual local offices in Pakistan and sell their product in retail.

I have first hand experience of a smalltime shop that sold redline oils in Karachi, a customer of theirs lost his engine to it and when he contacted redline they told him to pound sand, the bottles had batch codes that were non existant

Amsoil and Liqui Moly and Mobil have their Verified distributors.
First u were against Japany germany and then u r compalining fake oils of their. Fake oil production is true. But these imported items have their Distribution too. Buy from them

Shell helix ultra or mobil1 range is available for cheaper and more readily. For passenger and even heavy duty use

One can order drums and bowsers of it at economical prices too, so why should anyone order boutique oils for econobox passenger cars?

In all my life i have never come across a trucking fleet or industrial setup that uses amsoil or redline or liqui moly as their vendor. And neither have I seen them being filled as factory fill in any car, passenger, commercial or high performance.

That doesnt means they are non existent. People are happy with them. I personally like Amsoil and Mobil1. Very satisfied with their performance. Using them since 2018

All sorts of products exist in market as long as customers line up for them on hype.

E.g. Ive seen people buy amsoil atf for heavy use and pay 5 times the cost and amsoil still said to drain it at manufacturer interval, so why not just buy the cheaper original fill atf and save a lot of money.

Ive seen some people line up to buy some ultra weird oil for their hydraulic system while the manufacturer oil is several magnitudes cheaper and works great.

I can understand finding a unique lube for an application like a forklift being used in a freezer or a mining spec 1/2 ton truck requiring a non flammable oil in hydraulics etc. (its not sold by boutique blenders anyway)

Similarly Ive yet to see a farmer buy amsoil grease, however I see them buy citgo/mystik, chevron, mobil, john deere, cat etc, and these guys buy these greases in massive quantity too.

There are enthusiasts who are using it upto 20k and satisfied. But i dont have such big heart to experiment in that extreme way. Point is its awesome upto 12k. Cost efficient too.

I have been dumped by Fake oils of Pakistani made. Laal havoline dabba Zic and many more. Actually i saved on Amsoil. You dont know. I have daily 100km drive. I easily change at 12k with 3 to 4 months.

The point is if we are using premium thing, we are getting optimum benefit of the cost we beared. There are brands who put slogans but that might not be true. For example, Amosil and Mobil claim drain interval of 40000 and 20000 km respectively. But it seems to me the selling gimicks slogams, not reality. But despite that, their Product is up above all. You can use upto 12 to 15k km with many other benefits they gift to your ride. Like Rythm with smoothness, Fuel avg and engine protection with the same cost you bear on Shell Zic Havoline which are still not sure to be genuine.

Agreed, but it only applies there, where it is written in the manual that drain interval can be 10-15,000 Kms (as such automobiles have large oil sumps).

Try applying this analogy in a 660 cc tiny engine, and see premature engine failure after some thousands of Kms.

One of the marketing reperesentative of Mobil 1 is using 5w30 Mobil1 in his Mehran with drain interval of 15k km. He use to drive different cities on almost daily basis. He is quite statisfied.
Authentic dealers some time make you fool boy. Thats ma Pakistan. It is easy to buy imported stuff than Local Genuine .
