please use common sense....
vehicles that advertise long range drain intervals have very large sumps, e.g. BMW engines are specced for 10,000 miles (16,000 kms) drain interval. This is accomplished by 3 things being in harmony.
1 - engine oil quality/type
2 - oil filter construction
3 - oil sump hold (8.5 litres for a 3.0 litre engine)
similarly CAT spec their engines when used in highway trucks to have their 15w40 diesel oil changed at about 40K miles (usually 20 or 25 gallons in the sump).
It doesnt mean that you can do the same to your CD70 and toyota 2C.
