Android Unit in ALTIS 1.6 a crap unit 2 GB RAM in 114,000

Assalamo alaikum,

I have bought Altis 1.6 and I came to know that the Android unit in costing @114000, This is a crap, cheap quality manufactured locally by some Hafiz sb. I complained about it and I got the answer that you have bought what we have sold, nothing could be done now. Why is there no one in Pakistan to held accountable these big tycoons for looting the public.

May I suggest you to sell the "crap, cheap quality manufactured locally..." unit along with the car it came in and buy a car upto your desired quality level.

dude u done mistake .... during booking time u have to said representative that in this u can give normal cd player which come in gli instead of andriod crap... when your car arrive u can upgade player from market.

You can always go to consumer court but remember they have tons of money and tons of layers so it they are going to bounce everything over there too until you get tired of pursuing it

Altis 1.6 have factory fitted Unit. You paid extra for it?

The altis 1.6 we have at home came with a rebadged Alpine unit. It is made by a pakistani company called Automate. Automate have been producing oem speakers of substandard quality for many local manufactured cars you see today on roads.
As for this headunit, its just a cheap chinese headunit rebranded as alpine by automate in korangi, its plain deception. Ours came with 1 gb ram and some poor processor, it could barely play any youtube videos, we mailed toyota and got it replaced for a same headunit with 2 gb ram. Now its bearable. And btw its not even 720p. It is definitely a very poor unit and toyota is looting people.

Just so you know, all the speakers in your car might not have any branding on them either. Mine don't I saw from the diggi, they are also made by automate. Hence the average sound.
