Annual Mega Audio Chapter Combined Get Together 2011

Bhai please don't mind. Timely arrival of the organizer at the venue is a must, since we are expecting members to join from other cities as well.

The SPL group ... they meet almost every day, and as far as I can think, they must have already planned something about leaving together.

It is certainly not SPL Club RWP meet ... it is for ALL MEMBERS of PakWheels and their families/ guests.

This occasion is to socialize, meet new friends, and just one of the aspects is "audio performance" .. main emphasis of any GTG is developing and promoting relationships.

I hope you will understand ... we are all friends.

Well I would consider it rather rude, because if in the past people have ditched at the 11th hour, it sure doesn't mean everybody is the same way. And the reason why I brought it up 'cause I thought it would be good leaving together. And also, if it is a specific group meet "SPL CLUB RWP" then I would prefer staying back.

Why are u getting angry bro? Last get together we waited for everyone to arrive and the person who arrived last did not even go to the gtg and we were 90 minutes late. So we are going to leave at a fixed time cos i can make the "spl club" n myself come b leave at a particular time but i can nit force others to be punctual.

So anyone not at the tarnol by 1015 will have to follow on his own even if he is a rwp spl club member.

I think 15 minutes waiting time is fair enough for everyone to gather.

Based on prev experience of waiting 90 minutes ... I think it is reasonable time.

Going together is indeed more fun, but time is also a main factor. I'd agree with what Sattar bhai has said. There should be a threshold time and after which everyone should leave the meeting point. Secondly, the leader's number should be available so that if someone is getting a little late due to some genuine cause, he can request to wait a little more. Similarly, if anyone is getting late, he can ask the people to leave and don't wait for him...

Let me cite an example .. In Japan, 9.00 pm actually means 8.50 am. Anyone later than this is considered to have committed a very serious and unacceptable crime/ sin.

It is not necessary for weddings to get late. Once you invite people, they should be very clear that you mean business and that you have zero tolerance for latecomers.

One of my younger friends got married last year. His family was late for Baaraat, and I told him in firm tone that I will not attend the walima if he is late for walima by even one minute.

Walima day .. I reached on time ... and amazed to see that one person was surely there, waiting for me ... yes it was the dulha ... it is totally a different matter that everyone from family came late ... as usual.
