Another Fraud by SNGPL

SNGPL (Gas company) has just started a campaign to collect increased security deposit (Rs. 3395/- each in 6 installments making a grand total of Rs. 20370). I just received the bill, and considering the effects of inflation, increasing prices, this step is tantamount to eradicating poverty by exterminating the poor.

Has anyone else received this amount in their bills?

This is not fraud, they have increased meter security deposit. Which is refund able when you ask for disconnection

All such action are illegal, You can submit application at mohtasib office.

Exactly there is no point for asking security deposit when the installation has been done.

rcvd bill today with additional amount of 702 Rs as security deposit.... plus arrears of Rs 133.... if i go to their office and demand official letter against which they have started it... should I do it !!

They will hand you official letter. Google people its already covered by print and electronic media.

Secondly state of mind these days is what ever govt does is fraud and thanks to the courts it can be reversed and state bites the dust.

They know its a monopoly, they can do anything they want and customers have no choice.
