anyways guys yesterday we went to bilal gunj lahore for dashboard, we couldnt find what we were looking for prices were so high, a decent dashboard was for 30 Ks. But on a shop something caught my eye

these are images of japanese engine of a khyber it was 1000 cc Intercooler Turbo and Efi with automatic transmission, guy was asking for 200 Ks for it he claimed that it had done bare 9000 KM, no doubt engine was in mint condition, but out of reach

Boss can I have number of the guy who is selling this engine

Bhai this is not a swap this is most probably a half cut at bilal gunj but this is worth spending money on

Bhai it will produce around 100 hp and G15A will produce 120 hp?
Plus economy with no alterations but I agree 200k is insane han if its a complete half cut with other stuff also than max 130 to 140k

g15a is N/A also runs on CNG !
200k is way insane like some time back 1uzfe was for 100k i remember

Someone asked for the number of the Shop owner that is Ch Shahzad 0303-4431155 and ch Usman 0312-4124249, Yup that was half cut but the price 200 k was only for engine for complete half cut price was 300 k

I agree its price is way too high but its condition is worth seeing it looks like a brand new thing out of factory.

Updates of the last week, work is going on very slow but when ever i visit the denter he is occupied with a new rusted areas. i havent been able to give it so much time, but preparation to a decent restore are going on. This saturday i visited Lahore and bought Sand Blaster Gun from Brandarth Road.

I am really thankful for the Assistance of Nadeem Nabi sb (who has restored his GTO 125) in purchasing a Sand Blaster Gun, now as you people can see the badly rusted parts, my plan is to remove all paint and putty from the surface of the car wherever possible. Where we cannot reach by grinder (with steel brush) we will sand blast it to remove all rust so that things may be under control.

to show you people i have removed these parts from the cabin of the car first removal of rust and then black paint on these.

I removed all these things my self and took to my cousin's factory hoping to find some sort of assistance but couple of guys were on leave today and i could not accomplish this task will do it coming week end and post the pics ( i think i do not need to name above parts) Same rust removing and paint job is planned for all the parts underbody.

I cousin has the facility of Paint removing (brush installed on SAAN) Paint job and oven for paint also, so i have taken all parts to the factory. Will get help and all equipment there.

todays updates,

First four pics show rust removal after a dip in acid (first piece, steering column was not dipped) last two pics show sand blaster on work, and denter told me the bonnet was too rusted to be used again i brought it with me to check it out. removed its paint it seems ok to me. what do you guys say?

whatever you do fit in an EFI engine a K10 (i am not sure about availability in used market) would be best
CNG days are over and you need an economical engine to run on petrol and powerful enough for aircon

we are not fitting this engine in car, owner is asking for 200 ks for it, mind you that my cousin is not a restoration fan type nor he believes in old classics (its waste of time yar he always say) its more of a no option chalo do it yaar of a thing.

currently i am not given so much of budget, if i force him he will do it, according to my cousin its engine is fit and average is also good (thats the story of a year and half ago) dont know what will be its position when we start it. Currently my focus is its body engine will be thought about later.
