Thank you brother for appreciation. Last month, I cancelled my family trip to Hunza owing to unexpected weather followed by flooding. I am so sad to report that newly built KKH from Raikot Bridge to Khunjerab is severly damaged at places. If I was at your place, I would have never considered taking a cultus (ground clearance) given the situation of highway. Rest it all depends if you dont mind some rattles here are there in the car.

Its very sad brother, So what would be in Ramzan will it be clear or not, OK, will see that time God willing.
I think inshaallah it must be clear till Ramzan or so....

I have been to babusar and planned to visit Khunjrab this year. You thread boosted my passion and gave a lot of information.

And about the camera i got the same camera. As it got 30x optical zoom the image doesn't deteriorate until option zoom. Rest 30x is digital and that can be little pixalated. i keep it under 30x optical zoom and result is superb. here are some samples shots (normal and zoomed) from same camera from a last year trip to Soan Valley. You can see the boat clearly at 30x zoom

I upgraded my point & shoot camera to one of Nikon J series cameras with two lenses 10/30mm and 30/110mm. Its still a tiny camera as I am traveler only, not a photographer to carry bulky dslr. It is serving my two main purposes, optic zoom of upto 110mm that is more than enough for me and capturing the night shots in a natural way rather than photoshop the image that looks unnatural.

Even mid May should be perfect as my last trip up KKH was in May. During Ramazan it will be cheap and peaceful BUT if you miss rooza, reciting quran and other good deeds, it will not be good. Sufur to sufur hae.

Its a pocket stove brother. Now cheap brands are readily available on AliExpress that do the job well.
