Hello everyone, I am in the process of restoring my old corolla. Replacement of rusty pieces is in progress and I would like to know if there is some anti rust solution / paint that I can apply to the entire frame/ body of the car before I hand it over to the painter to prevent any rust build up in the future. Door panels and corners tend to pick up rust pretty quickly given how corrosive our water has gotten. I did discuss it with the painter, he said a good quality "aster" would do the needful. I need some guidance for a permanent solution.
(P.S I am aware of the 3M tar like rust proofing that is applied on the cars floor. I cant apply that to the frame and body internals)
