i was just wondering is there any major disadvantage of aluminium spacers ..or they just increase the cars hieght thats it?

it is many time better then harder springs! and it is using by many people now adays ! and i think it is must after installing cng ! and u have to something 4 tht! so do not hasitate go 4 its bro!
spacer do not trouble u alot but harder spring will always make trouble! its my personal experience
fitting spacers is not a great idea but sadly in PK we only have this option or to fit longer springs from some random other car.
personally i think the lesser of these two evis is the spacers since the other springs can cause even more harm.
i dont wanna install cng but my accord has lowering suspension kit..i tot maybe putting a spacer around the 4 tyers of one inch would help without any effect on the cars drive?because rite its hitting down a lot.
why would you fit a lowering suspension kit and then fit spacers tp raise it back up again? wouldn't it make more sense to switch back to stock suspension & not take pangas with the cars setup?
it already had a lowering suspension kit when i bought it..so thinking about what to do..because change of tyre size wont have any effect too cuz its the suspension which is lowered..is aluminium spacer better or rubber?and is one inch oka?

which model accord is it? i'm sure youcan find a set of original height springs for it in sultan ke kuh. it's a MUCH better idea than fitting alu or rubber spacers. i will suggest you try looking for a set of OEM springs and abandon the spacer idea for now.

standard sized springs for this car should be available there without a problem.

I am also facing such problem in my Toyota Vitz 2004 although having 14" Tyres (165/70/R14) ones.It doesent touches speed braker with two persons but when there are three it touches even a decent speed brakers. So was thinking of changing my tyres to 175/75/R14 but its not availbale in imported ones only GENERAL ones. So I am also thinking of placing spacers on them So can any body suggest about tyres or spacers on VITZ. Experts and VITZ gurus are welcomed.RegardsAdnan

Yes DOCEBZ,I asked a mechanic he told me thats the only way for increasing the hight of the vehical with minimum damage is alu Sapcers as Coil spring dont give comfort ride as I also had an experiance of it on my Cultus when the spring regularly keep to make noise and leave from there place after bumping hard on a damged Road.So can anobody advice us the best method except the conventional Methods.Thanx
Another thing which I forgot was that I heard that these spacers damage Shock absorbers and reduce there life as after puting spacers vehical height is increase and noe there would be more load on Shockers with more Height.Please some one explain that is it true!!!
YEA most of the mechanincs say that aluminimun spacers are the best option to raise a cars height withoutany damage or discomfort
Spacers DAMAGE your suspension & ruin the ride quality. Any mechanics who say otherwise are peddling rubbish.
