Any experience with Carrera coolant?

I was looking for honest opinion about Carerra coolant. They have separate anti-freeze and anti-heat coolants. But there is no technical information available about coolants.

Their website says its German tech, while their label shows US flag. Is it legit of some local brand?

p.s. I'm trying to decide between Guard and Carerra coolant. I know there are better options but I want to stick with cheaper.

Both are local so dont expect spectacular results, Carrera gets the job done as a stop gap between water and OEM coolant

Thanks for replying. Although Guard says "manufactured according to OEM". Local brands don't mention details of contingents.

They think that just writing anti-rust or heat-preventive will win them loyal customers. Mostly their life is 2 years max. as compare to havoline extended life coolant which promises 5 years of life.

My vote is still for OEM coolant it costs around 8k if you get aisin

I am using AISIN green coolant for my Honda from last 3 years, no issues. Not expensive as well.

I just bought 3 bottles of Carrera out of curiosity. Lets check out if Pakwheels' recommendations are up to promise. Although I doubt on Pakwheels tests because they are all about fast selling.

The bottle has no technical info on it. This reflects that product is not tested anywhere so no statistics or claim. Looks like local brands just packing water-mixed ethylene glycol in bottle.

Adding here that BASF Glysantin G48 is a very visible bright blue if any leaks occur. Have been using it in my iron block, alu head Suzuki for over a year with no issues. About Rs. 2200 for 1 liter of concentrate.

Havoline's Dexcool Orange is more widely available for around Rs. 1700 for 1 liter of concentrate.

I don't think BASF coolant is available here in Pak ...
I never saw it anywhere in markets ...

Although havoline coolant is best.
