***Any expirence with KENDA tyres?***

Assalam O Alayqum,

Its was time i got new tyres for my car which is FINALLY (mashallah) now spending more time running on the road rather than sitting at home or the work shop:P

I was planing to put in brigdestone ER60 185/70/13 in it.....i was checking out prices and stuff form different shops when i stumbled across a tyre companyt called KENDA, all the shop keepers who are holding them are saying they are better than dunlop and brigdestome and fall in the same class as yokos :S

i just wanted to know if anyone has ever had a chance of using them? and if yes then are they worth going for ??
im getting the 185/70/13 for 2600rs.....where as yokos for the same size are for 3400 and brigdestone is for arouind 3200.....

Or if you guys could recomend any good hard tyres which are in somewhat in the same range as the kenda tyres are costing me.....

umair DONT go for yokos!!!!! get pirellis,
remember the ones i had on my xe,had superb road grip n were hard tyres

yar jayzee those were soft tyres.......you know wht the kind of soft suspension setup the WOO runs on and of course my nasty cornering habits......

so basically wht i want out of the tyre is;
1. Good grip/braking
2. its should slightly stiffen the ride or atleast doesnt
make it MORE softer
3. should have good cornering capabilties
4. cost efficent
5. should be round in shape:P awain kidding

i'm waiting just so i could take a better decision...else i desperatly need to change my tyres!

Don't believe what the shopkeepers say they only recommend what gives them the maximum margin. As far as Kenda is concerned I wouldn't put my money on a company with only one passenger tyre listed on the website. You are better off buying known brands, unless of course price is an issue and you want something cheaper.

I have had good experience with Yokos AVS ES100. It's a very soft tyre but it wears out much sooner. Since you want something harder I would recommend that you visit www.tirerack.com and check out the reviews. You will find every major tyre reviwed here and it should give you enough information to make an informed decision.
