I would also suggest to get a comprehensive scan done on it and remove any old and stuck codes. There are a lot of ecus in these cars and a good scan tool can access almost all.
E.g. weak battery sets low voltage errors in all modules, which doesnt clear with battery disconnect etc
Another example is if your car has ibs, you need to know if the ecu was written with the mileage of battery change and what battery is specified.
